I got behind on covering the The Age of Rebellion comic series by Greg Pak, so I'm gradually going to be catching up, beginning today with the issue on Luke Skywalker. This issue focused on an adventure the young Jedi had in the period in-between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and [...]
I am in firm agreement with J.J. Abrams when he said that one of the very best things Rian Johnson did in The Last Jedi (among many) was casting Kelly Marie Tran as Rose Tico. I love Rose, and I'm all for getting more stories about her relationship with her sister, Paige. That's exactly what [...]
The latest Age of Resistance comic was about Supreme Leader Snoke, but it really starred Kylo Ren. It is a very good and interesting story that explored a couple of moments in the course of Snoke's training of Kylo, including a visit to the dark side cave on Dagobah that Luke had faced decades earlier. [...]
The latest issue in the ongoing Age of Resistance comic series was released on Wednesday, this time focusing on Supreme Leader Snoke. Each of these issues centers on a key figure in the sequel trilogy, but in the case of this Snoke comic, Kylo Ren really takes center stage. But that's ok. While those desperate [...]
Poe Dameron is a hero of the Resistance, but before that he was a Commander in the New Republic Defense Fleet. He commanded Rapier Squadron, and the recent Age of Resistance comic showed us a mission that the Squadron once rushed into - and on the last page of the issue, it featured a significant [...]
The Age of Republic comic series by Jody Houser wrapped up earlier this year, and each issue was terrific. Each of these issues centered on a different character from the prequel era - both heroes and villains - and the stories they told were really well-done and insightful. The final issue was focused on General [...]
The Age of Republic comics by Jody Houser have all been terrific, and the series wrapped up a little while ago - and we're now getting ready to begin the Age of Rebellion comic series, which I'm also super excited about! But in catching up a bit on the Age of Republic stuff, I wanted [...]
The main Star Wars comic line is currently telling the stories of what happened to our heroes in-between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back. One of the major moments came in the "Hope Dies" arc of the series, released in 2018, as the Empire traced the Rebellion to the Mako-Ta Space Docks. The [...]
Did you know that Han Solo actually helped the Resistance before The Force Awakens? It's true. All of it. It's possible that Han helped the Resistance in a more formalized way in the very early days of the Resistance, since that happened before Ben Solo's rebellion and Han and Leia's split, though we know nothing [...]
In The Force Awakens, it is revealed that Han Solo lost the Millennium Falcon, his beloved ship, and that he and Chewbacca had been searching for it. They of course find it, but in doing so they find a whole lot more: they find a look into their past and into their future, as they [...]
