We are just five days away from the premiere of the latest Star Wars live-action TV series, The Book of Boba Fett, which drops on Disney+ on Wednesday, December 29.
The series follows Boba Fett as he looks to step into the absence left by Jabba the Hutt’s death, with Fennec Shand operating at his side as they encounter various crime bosses. The showrunners have teased that surprises are on their way in the series, such that Robert Rodriguez says we’ve only seen footage from the first half of the first episode!
That doesn’t mean they’ve gone light on the promotional material for the last few weeks, and today a new teaser spot dropped, this one titled “Throne,” which contains a few new shots we hadn’t previously seen!
It’s been just over a year since the last episode of The Mandalorian season two aired, meaning that it’s been a full year since we’ve had any live-action Star Wars. While there was a time where that wouldn’t have been seen as anything crazy, it shows how spoiled we’ve been in recent years that it feels like such a long stretch. But next week begins what will be the biggest year of Star Wars content ever, so the wait will have been worth it!
