Disney is currently hosting their Investor Day stream, and in just a bit we’ll get some massive announcements about new projects, including from Star Wars – so stay tuned!
But it has already been revealed that a ton of new series are coming to the franchise in the coming years – ten of them!!!
This is massive news. We only currently know of four of them: The Mandalorian, the Cassian Andor series, the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, and The Bad Batch. That means that there are six more series coming from Star Wars in the coming few years!!!
Later on in the presentation, Lucasfilm President Kathy Kennedy outlined a number of other shows that are coming, as well as provided updates on those aforementioned shows. You can find the complete list of projects revealed here, but they include The Mandalorian spinoff shows Rangers of the New Republic and Ahsoka, as well as the series Lando, and much more!
Disney+ gives Star Wars and the other franchises a ton of opportunity to do things like this, and I can’t wait to see all the different Star Wars stories that are soon arriving there!
