We’re less than two weeks away from the second season of The Mandalorian, and as expected, we’ll be getting another look at the season very soon!
On Monday night, October 19, during the Monday Night Football game between the Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys on ESPN, we’ll be getting an exclusive look!
Notice that it doesn’t explicitly say that it’ll be a trailer, so it’s not necessarily guaranteed that it’ll be a second trailer, though I absolutely think that’s the likeliest option. If you even look at the brief teaser released, it’s all made up of actual footage from the show, so there’s no hint that it’s not a trailer. In fact, in that teaser, you can see a Mythrol – that certainly looks like the same one Din Djarin apprehended in the very beginning of the first season!
It’s nothing new for Star Wars to debut a trailer during a Monday Night Football game, as it makes perfect sense, considering Disney owns both Lucasfilm and ESPN. I’m guessing it’ll happen at halftime, since that’s how it’s been in the past, but we’ll have to wait and see. I love football so I’d have been watching anyway, but I absolutely can’t wait to get another look at The Mandalorian!
