At Star Wars Celebration London 2023, a brand new trailer for the upcoming Ahsoka series was released, also being simultaneously released to the public online.
The series stars Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano and Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren in their journey to find Ezra Bridger – and, as Ahsoka says in the trailer, there are rumors of Thrawn’s return. It was also announced at Celebration that Mary Elizabeth Winstead is playing Hera Syndulla in the series. And, of course, there are other surprises too.

The trailer gives us a look at Ahsoka, Sabine, Hera, Chopper, and more – including a brief glimpse of Ezra Bridger’s hologram and a shot of Thrawn from the back, the first time we’ve seen him in live-action. The trailer also showed Mon Mothma, who at this point in the timeline is the Chancellor of the New Republic.
I’m especially excited about this series and I absolutely cannot wait to see it. This trailer has me hyped, and there was also a poster for the show that was released. The poster confirms that the series will premiere in August 2023, so we don’t have too much longer to wait now. Just a few more months!
