The latest Road Ahead post was released today for the popular Star Wars mobile game Galaxy of Heroes, and it included a surprising amount of information and reveals.
Included among those reveals are the fact that two new Tusken characters are coming, the Tusken Chieftain and the Tusken Warrior from The Book of Boba Fett, as well as a brand new raid featuring a fight against the Krayt Dragon, as seen in The Mandalorian season two. The two new Tuskens will complete a five-character Tusken squad (there are currently three in-game), and will also pair with Boba Fett, Scion of Jango.
That’s exciting enough, but the most exciting news of all of it to me was the confirmation that there will be a focus on the Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi: Survivor games! That includes Cal Kestis, who is an Unaligned Force User paired with BD-1, who provides healing to the team. Cere Junda is also coming, providing a leader for Unaligned Force Users who is specifically designed to work with Cal. And, of course, Merrin is also coming to the game, fitting in well with a Nightsister team. It all will culminate in a Hero’s Journey event for Cal Kestis (Survivor). In total, there will be five characters from this period coming to the game, and they will have a key role in Conquest and Territory Battles, among other places.
As a huge fan of Fallen Order and an avid player of Galaxy of Heroes, this is terrific news. And the timing of it makes sense, with Jedi: Survivor coming on April 28. It will sync up well (which doesn’t always happen in Galaxy of Heroes, given the time needed to create content), and it will bring some fan favorite characters into this game. I can’t wait!
