Tales of the Jedi comes out later this month, and an official poster for the series has been released by Star Wars social media.
The gorgeous poster is built around the Jedi Order logo, and it features the two main characters of the series, Ahsoka Tano and Dooku. Surrounding them are all sorts of characters who will apparently have a key role in the series. Take a look at it:
The animated series is made up of six shorts, with three of them centering around Ahsoka Tano and three of them centering around Dooku during his days as a Jedi. Both Ahsoka and Dooku voluntarily left the Order, though their paths after that point diverged dramatically.
Some of the figures on the poster seem to have quite a bit to do with Ahsoka’s story: her family, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Rex, Bail Organa, Tera Sinube, and an Inquisitor. Some of the other figures seem to have quite a bit to do with Dooku’s story: Mace Windu, Qui-Gon Jinn, and Yaddle in her triumphant return.
All six episodes of the series will drop at once, on Wednesday, October 26 on Disney+. It’s also the same day as a new episode of Andor, so I’m really hoping that it doesn’t get overshadowed. Star Wars animation has been among the best stories the franchise has told, and this series both looks gorgeous and sounds very interesting (especially the stuff about Dooku). I can’t wait!
