Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni will have a panel at Star Wars Celebration talking about The Mandalorian – including what’s to come

This will probably come as no surprise, but there will be a panel at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim talking all about The Mandalorian, with showrunners Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni in a panel called “Mando+: A Conversation with Jon Favreau & Dave Filoni.” The panel will be held on Saturday, May 28, and will feature “special guests for a look back and a look ahead at what’s to come.”

It might sound crazy, but this is the first Star Wars Celebration to take place since The Mandalorian premiered in the fall of 2019, with the last Celebration happening in April of the same year. Since then, we have had two seasons of the hit show, a spin-off series in The Book of Boba Fett, and other spin-off shows in development. In other words, there’s a lot to talk about.

Though guests are slowly being announced bit by bit, Star Wars has already announced that The Mandalorian actors Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon), Omid Abtahi (Doctor Pershing), Katee Sackhoff (Bo-Katan Kryze), Carl Weathers (Greef Karga), and Emily Swallow (The Armorer) will all be at Celebration. That’s not to say they’ll all be at this panel, but it’s already evident that there will be plenty of people connected with the show who could be available and appear for a look back.

So a look back will be awesome, but fans are likely to be even more intrigued by the talk about what’s to come. We know that season three is in development, and apparently just wrapped filming recently, but we know extremely little about what’s happening, when it’s coming, or anything else. This will likely be the time where we find out more information about what’s going to be happening.
