The Mandalorian season three has apparently wrapped filming recently, and it appears that another returning actor will be appearing in the season.
Misty Rosas posted a picture on Instagram recently, and though her caption makes it seem like it’s a throwback, the shirt she is wearing does say “The Mandalorian season 3,” which certainly seems to confirm her involvement. She has apparently recently deleted the picture, but the post nonetheless does seem to confirm her involvement.
Rosas being in The Mandalorian is not much of a surprise, since she appeared in both the first and second seasons of the show. In season one, she played Kuiil (who was voiced by Nick Nolte), and then even though Kuiil died in the seventh episode, in season two Rosas once more returned, this time playing Frog Lady for two episodes. (And, just to be clear, Frog Lady is still out there, so she could be back!) Odds are that Rosas will be playing a new character in season three and not one of those she’s portrayed previously.
We still don’t know much of anything officially about the series, including when it’ll premiere. But we do know that it will continue the story of Din Djarin and Grogu, and will most likely deal more with Mandalore – and thus Bo-Katan Kryze and others are expected to play significant roles. The Mandalorian remains the flagship series for Disney+’s original Star Wars content, but with so many other shows being released and developed it eases the pressure on this series – and makes the wait for its return a bit more bearable.
