New TV spots, posters, and information revealed for The Book of Boba Fett!

One month from today, Boba Fett returns!

The latest Star Wars live-action series, The Book of Boba Fett, premieres on Disney+ on December 29, and marketing is finally seeming to pick up. That makes sense, too, given that Hawkeye just premiered last week, so presumably attention will now shift more toward publicizing the premiere of Boba Fett.

It was announced today by Star Wars that the series will be seven episodes, beginning on December 29. If there’s one new episode each Wednesday, the show will run through February 9 – kicking off what figures to be the biggest year of Star Wars content ever! Additionally, they released individual character posters for both Boba Fett and Fennec Shand, who figure to be the two starring characters (at least initially).

Accompanying this was a TV spot, entitled “Message,” which followed up another TV spot, “Reign,” that released this past weekend. Check them out:

These TV spots and posters also come on the heels of the Entertainment Weekly issue that was released a week ago, all of which indicates that since we’re only a month away from the series we’ll likely be seeing a lot more in the coming weeks. Of course, nothing we’ve seen really reveals anything relating to spoilers or the plotline, besides the generic fact that Fett is trying to rule in Jabba the Hutt’s place. This is typical with Star Wars marketing, which plays things very close to the chest, and it led to some thrilling surprises and twists in The Mandalorian season two – some of which involved Boba Fett himself! I can’t wait to see what they have in store for this series!
