Galaxy of Adventures is an animated show that produces short videos animating some of the most iconic moments and characters of the Star Wars saga.
These videos are terrific and really well-done, and they take dialogue and music from the films while providing an animated adaptation that’s really good. And with the 40th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back being celebrated recently, the Galaxy of Adventures shorts over the last four weeks focused on the beloved film, telling it in four parts, with dialogue from the movies – and narration from Tom Kane, who did the narration for The Clone Wars episodes!
The first of the videos features the Battle of Hoth:
Next up is Luke Skywalker training with Yoda on Dagobah:
Then we get a look at what happens to Han Solo, Leia Organa, Lando Calrissian, and the other heroes on Bespin:
And fourth, we see the lightsaber duel between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader:
It’s really fun to watch these four videos in a row, re-living The Empire Strikes Back through these amazing animated shorts. I love it, and I’d love to see a focus like this on all of the films, re-telling it in several parts. This is so cool.
