Lucasfilm releases new launch trailer for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

A brand new Indiana Jones video game releases this week, with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle releasing on Friday, December 6!

Developed by MachineGames and released by Bethesda Games, in partnership with Lucasfilm Games, the game looks like a classic Indiana Jones adventure – only this time, you can take on the role yourself in this adventure. The game’s story is set in-between Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, and it sets Indy (impressively voiced by gaming legend Troy Baker) on a global quest. The “macguffin” of this story is the Great Circle, a power that others want to harness for nefarious purposes. This circle is made up of multiple sites around the world that, when connected on a map, supposedly give immense power. So as he’s had to do before, Indy must try to get there first, keeping the power from falling into the wrong hands.

The game is very much an adventure game, with tons to explore and puzzles to solve. There’s action along the way, too, and plenty of cutscenes. In all, it looks to be a classic Indiana Jones adventure, and I’m thrilled that the legendary archaeologist is being brought to the gaming scene in a bigger way than ever before. Hopefully this is just the beginning.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be available on XBox and Windows on that date, but it won’t be coming to Playstation until spring 2025. You can check out the launch trailer below:
