Ben Solo is coming to Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes!

A surprising yet exciting development is happening in Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, as Ben Solo is coming to the game as a playable character.

Solo is coming as a Conquest reward, meaning it will be a while before players can unlock him, but he’s designed to be the “lifter” unit for Galactic Legend Rey. These lifter units are Conquest characters who pair with a Galactic Legend to take them to another level. Commander Ahsoka Tano did that for Jedi Master Kenobi, while Maul did that for Lord Vader.

Interestingly, the developers mentioned that they wanted to return to previously released Galactic Legends and give them increased viability, so this could be the first of more to come. And it means that Rey will likely be getting a significant boost in all game modes. Among other things in Solo’s kit, Rey cannot be defeated while he is active – while he cannot be defeated while Rey is above 50% health. In other words, this will make the tandem hard to take down, even with Solo being called a “glass cannon” (meaning he’s a powerful attacker but with lower health).

This character is obviously designed after the redeemed version of Ben Solo that we see at the end of The Rise of Skywalker, showing up to aid Rey on Exegol. And I couldn’t be happier to see him finally included in the game as a playable character. He actually appeared in the Sith Eternal Emperor event, but it was a re-skin and not a new character.

I’m definitely super excited about this, and I can’t wait to unlock Ben Solo in the months to come!
