Star Wars Celebration is a month away, taking place in Anaheim from May 26 through May 29. And with it coming before long, the full list of panels that will be featured was just released today!
A few panels in particular stand out. As we previously knew, kicking off the weekend will be a panel showcasing Lucasfilm’s live action projects to come, including Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Mandalorian, and Andor. That panel will take place on Thursday, May 26, from 2:00-3:30 eastern time. A panel on Lucasfilm publishing will come that same afternoon, from 4:00-5:00 eastern time, and will be about the publishing side of things, including The High Republic… and speaking of The High Republic, it gets its own panel that day, from 6:00-7:00 eastern time.
On Friday afternoon, from 5:00-6:00 eastern time, there will be a panel celebrating the 20th anniversary of Attack of the Clones.
On Saturday morning comes a highly-anticipated panel with Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni looking at the past and future of The Mandalorian (2:00-3:00 eastern time). That will be followed shortly after (4:00-5:00 eastern) by a behind the scenes panel about The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. Also on Saturday is a panel introducing the new animated anthology series Tales of the Jedi, featuring an appearance from Filoni as well; that will take place from 5:30-6:30 eastern time. A look at the upcoming Marvel Star Wars comics will take place from 7:30-8:30, while a look at the upcoming Del Rey Star Wars novels will happen from 9:00-10:00.
Then on Sunday comes a panel on The Bad Batch (2:00-3:00), a panel on Visions (3:30-4:30), and the closing ceremony (6:30-7:30).
And that’s not all! There’s plenty other panels that are taking place during the convention, and I’ve just mentioned several that stood out to me in particular. There’s still no word yet on whether Celebration will be streamed online, but given the fact that the Celebration livestream has become a staple of recent Celebrations it would be quite shocking if it wasn’t.
That week figures to be PACKED with Star Wars, given that we’ll surely be getting tons of announcements and new looks at what’s to come, along with the first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi! And it’s only a month away!
