Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and Commander Ahsoka Tano are coming to Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes!

Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes recently released its latest Road Ahead post, and this time there was actually a ton of hype created by it!

Namely, that Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and Commander Ahsoka Tano are both coming to the game soon! This brings two fan-favorite and highly-anticipated characters, with more soon to come.

Most notable is Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, and that’s because he will be the newest Galactic Legend released. He will be the fifth such character in the game, and the previous four Galactic Legends – Rey, Supreme Leader Kylo Ren, Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, and Sith Eternal Emperor – are the strongest and best characters in the game. That’s by design, and these characters require a ton of work and resources to unlock.

Unlike the previous Galactic Legends releases, this time they’re releasing one at a time (previously they came in pairs). They said that it’s because players had a hard time unlocking them together, but that basically means they think they can make more money this way. But nonetheless, I do think that it makes sense and will be interesting to follow. Most assume that the other Galactic Legend will be a pre-suit Darth Vader, but we’ll have to see.

Like always, though, they’re releasing the set of requirements in waves, but they’re telling us when they’re going to release it: we’ll get the final requirements on May 19 and then June 9. Presumably, then, Kenobi will be released very shortly thereafter. As for the first set of requirements, players will need General Kenobi at Relic 8, Negotiator at 6 stars, Mace Windu at Relic 3, Aayla Secura at Relic 3, and Bo-Katan Kryze at Relic 5. There’s a mix there of characters who have been around for a while and are easily accessible (Windu and Secura), a ship that isn’t exactly easy to acquire but isn’t bad (Negotiator), a character who isn’t yet farmable (Bo-Katan), and an incredibly high relic requirement (General Kenobi). I’m not too excited about this setting a precedent of Relic 8 characters already being required for Galactic Legends, as it feels very soon, but maybe they have plans to make the material more accessible…

Anyway, the other major character announced is Commander Ahsoka Tano! Inspired by her appearance in the Siege of Mandalore, I’m honestly just as excited – and maybe even more so – at her arrival in this game, though understanding that she’s nowhere near the level of a Galactic Legend event. In fact, she is described as being better than a marquee character, but not quite at the level of an Epic Confrontation character. She will be unlocked through Conquest, and apparently if you earn the maximum rewards on Hard Conquest, you’ll be able to unlock her at 7 stars after three Conquest events. Most players will take longer, but I think it’s actually fantastic for them to tell us a timeframe like this. That is very helpful.

So there’s a lot of Clone Wars content coming to the game, as all of this is alongside the Bad Batch content that’s currently ongoing. That’s all very exciting, and I can’t wait!
