Season one of The Mandalorian recently wrapped up on Disney+, and the season finale contained some intriguing teases for where the show might go next.
Showrunner Jon Favreau didn’t leave us in suspense for long as to when season two will drop, as he posted on social media that the second season of the popular show is coming in fall 2020.
Included in that Tweet is a photo of a model that looks to be a Gamorrean. We saw these creatures serving as guards at Jabba’s Palace in Return of the Jedi, and it would seem that Favreau is hinting that we’ll see them show up in season two. That would be pretty cool.
Anyway, fall 2020 is when I was expecting the second season to drop, but it’s good to have confirmation. We don’t know the exact date yet, but I would guess that at Celebration in August we’ll get much more information (and probably a trailer) as we near the release.
