Lucasfilm has made a small part of Galaxy’s Edge available to all, as on Friday they released Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – Oga’s Cantina: R-3X’s Playlist #1 to all music platforms.
This 18-track playlist features music heard at the Galaxy’s Edge theme park, played by DJ R-3X in Oga’s Cantina. One such track is called “Mad About Me” and is a remixed version of the iconic cantina theme from Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes, first heard in the Mos Eisley Cantina in A New Hope.
It’s a nice touch to release this, as it gives fans who haven’t been able to visit Galaxy’s Edge a chance to experience a small part of the park. When you visit Oga’s Cantina, you find R-3X – a familiar face for Star Wars fans, given his days in his previous job at Star Tours – DJ’ing the music.
