New clip from Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past features Darth Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Revan

You may have heard of Darth Jar Jar, but have you heard of Darth Obi-Wan?

That’s what we can expect when Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past premieres on Disney+ on September 19. The second season of the Rebuild the Galaxy series will be released as four episodes, giving a “what if?” look at the Star Wars galaxy. The premise of the series is that the protagonist, Sig Greebling, accidentally messes with the Cornerstone, the Lego brick holding the galaxy together, and upon doing so chaos ensues, twisting all we thought we knew of the galaxy.

The first season showed us that meant Vader was actually a hero, and the second season will show us that Obi-Wan Kenobi is actually a villain. A new minute-long clip promoting the series was recently released, giving us a look at Darth Obi-Wan. But of particular significance to many fans, he’s accompanied by a Sith who doesn’t appear to do much talking, but who presents a formidable foe: Darth Revan.

A major character in the Knights of the Old Republic video games, Revan has become a fan favorite for many Star Wars gamers who played those beloved adventures. It is cool to see him included in a series like this. Though the new Star Wars canon has acknowledged Revan, he hasn’t appeared in any stories of note, and this will mark his first appearance in any Star Wars series to-date (canon or otherwise). So it’s a pretty exciting deal to have him show up.

All four episodes of Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past will be released on Disney+ on September 19. The series is directed by Chris Buckley, with Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit serving as writers and executive producers.
