Trailer for Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past released!

Next month, we’re returning to the world of Lego Star Wars with the newest animated special, Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past.

It is the second season of the Rebuild the Galaxy animated series, following the four episodes released last year. The show follows a kid named Sig Greebling who accidentally finds the Cornerstone in a Jedi Temple. This artifact winds up changing everything about the galaxy, throwing it into chaos and making things entirely different from what we knew. Some familiar heroes are now villains, some familiar villains are now heroes, and everything in-between.

The second season will build on the events of the first, continuing the story by introducing so many characters and settings, both familiar and new. It will also introduce a new villain, Solitus, who is the former master of Jedi Bob. A new trailer for the series was released, showcasing so much of the chaos and confusion – and introducing the lovable Jaxson, too.

All four episodes of Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past will be released on Disney+ on September 19. The series is directed by Chris Buckley, with Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit serving as writers and executive producers. The voice cast stars Gaten Matarazzo (Sib Greebling), Tony Revolori (Dev Greebling), and Bobby Moynihan (Jedi Bob), with an abundant cast of other voice actors. Among them are a number of actors reprising their respective roles from other Star Wars projects, including Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian), Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka Tano), Ahmed Best (Jar Jar Binks), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Sam Witwer (Maul), Matthew Wood (General Grievous), Naomi Ackie (Jannah), Kelly Marie Tran (Rose Tico), Catherine Taber (Padmé Amidala), Nika Futterman (Asajj Ventress), James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), and Cameron Monaghan (Cal Kestis).
