A brand new look at the second and final season of Andor has been released, with behind-the-scenes interviews with cast and crew put together with a whole lot of new footage from the upcoming episodes.
In fact, I think this special look has me even more hyped for the season than the trailer that was released not long ago did. There’s just a ton in here, and it teases some pretty significant moments that are going to be coming in this season.
The second season of Andor will lead right up to Rogue One, with the twelve episodes covering a four-year span leading up to the events of the movie. Each three-episode arc will be set a year apart, until we get to the moments right before we meet Cassian in the film (and we know where that leads). The first season of the show was exceptional, met with significant acclaim from fans and critics alike (something almost unheard of for Star Wars).
As a result, the expectations for season two are sky high. Alongside this special look, a brand new poster was released, and it looks great too.
Andor will return on April 22 with the first arc, and it will release a brand new arc each of the next three weeks after that. The series comes from the creative genius of showrunner Tony Gilroy, who is an executive producer alongside Kathleen Kennedy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Diego Luna, Luke Hull, and John Gilroy. The series stars Diego Luna as Cassian Andor, with Stellan Skarsgãrd, Genevieve O’Reilly, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Adria Arjona, Faye Marsay, Varada Sethu, Elizabeth Dulau, Alan Tudyk, Ben Mendelsohn and Forest Whitaker making up a stellar cast.
