New Skeleton Crew trailer and poster released!

With just a month remaining until the premiere of Skeleton Crew on Disney+, Star Wars today released a new trailer, and a new poster, to promote the series.

The trailer gives us a better feel for what the plot of the show will be about, or at least what will kick-start all of it. A group of kids from a seemingly peaceful planet long for adventure, and they stumble upon an old ship – with a droid captain, SM-33. The ship takes off, leaving the kids stranded in the galaxy away from their parents. They wind up at a space station of sorts, but get into trouble – at which point they meet Jod Na Nawood (Jude Law), who offers to help them. What follows seems like a treasure-hunting adventure, complete with space pirates hunting them.

So while there’s a lot we don’t know about the show, this trailer seems to give viewers an idea of what to expect. It looks like it will be a fun adventure series, though it remains to be seen exactly how it fits into the larger storyline of The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Ahsoka. We’ll know soon enough, as the show premieres on December 3 with the first two episodes.

Skeleton Crew is created by showrunners Jon Watts (who directed the trilogy of Spider-Man films in the MCU) and Christopher Ford, and it stars Jude Law, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Ryan Kiera-Armstrong, Kyrianna Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, and others. The series is executive produced by Ford, Watts, Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson, with Chris Buongiorno, Karen Gilchrist, and Carrie Beck as co-executive producers.
