Behind the scenes teaser released promoting Ahsoka

Ahsoka will be one of the most anticipated Star Wars projects in recent memory, and with the premiere being just over a month away, Star Wars released a “Journey to Ahsoka” teaser as promotion.

The nearly two-minute featurette is basically a look at what’s gone into bringing Ahsoka to live-action. It begins with Rosario Dawson talking about the fancasting theories, then her debut as Ahsoka in The Mandalorian season two, and then features clips from Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni both talking about what’s gone into making all of this happen.

The teaser really doesn’t feature much footage we haven’t seen yet, but there are some new interview snippets and a few behind the scenes shot from set that are cool.

Star Wars has been extremely quiet about this series so far, aside from the trailer released at Celebration and a fairly generic series of interviews earlier this summer. But for better or for worse, this has become the norm for Disney+ shows, as they really begin to heavily market the shows around a month or so out, which means we’re entering the range where we should expect promotion for Ahsoka to really pick up. That means a trailer might be coming soon, as this behind the scenes clip is nice but will leave fans wanting more.
